The editorial team at TheSportster.com is currently looking for a freelance news writer!

TheSportster is a trusted resource covering timely news and interesting facts from the world of pro wrestling (WWE, AEW, and more.) We are looking to expand our coverage of combat sports and go into the world of Boxing and MMA. We believe that fighting, whether in a boxing ring, caged octagon, or the squared circle, is the most fascinating form of athletics on the planet.  

Your Responsibilities 

• Write consistently and meet tight deadlines.
• Input work into our in-house CMS following our style and formatting guidelines.
• Find and format images according to our guidelines.
• Communicate and coordinate with the editorial team for assignments and feedback.
• Stay up to date on the latest developments in the world of wrestling.

Experience and Skills

• Excellent writing and proof-reading ability.
• Well rounded knowledge of wrestling, combat sports a plus.
• The attitude to take constructive feedback positively and continue to improve.
• The ability to identify emerging stories with broad appeal.
• Weekend availability preferred.
