Location: Toronto, Ontario (Yonge and Sheppard)

Salary: Up to CND $60K

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare personal and corporate tax returns with accuracy and efficiency.
• Compile and analyze financial statements and reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Conduct reconciliations of balance sheets and profit and loss accounts.
• Ensure all financial transactions are recorded, filed, and reported in compliance with applicable standards.
• Review and verify financial data for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and maintain financial ledgers.
• Support administrative tasks including filing and document management.
• Assist in preparing invoices and managing payments.
• Utilize accounting software such as CaseWare, Profile Tax, and QuickBooks (desktop and online).

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience in accounting practice.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Excellent mathematical skills with high attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in an office environment full-time.
• Willingness to work extended hours during tax season.
