We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior Technical Project Manager to lead critical Data and Business Intelligence (BI) initiatives across the enterprise. This role is ideal for a seasoned project leader who thrives in high-impact, cross-functional environments and possesses a deep understanding of data platforms, analytics ecosystems, and Agile delivery methodologies.

As the central point of coordination across engineering, architecture, QA, business, and vendor teams, you will ensure timely, high-quality delivery of complex projects that align with enterprise priorities. You will also own project intake, planning, execution, and reporting—bringing clarity, structure, and momentum to a growing portfolio of data-driven innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex cross-functional Data and BI projects from concept to delivery, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy and measurable outcomes.
  

• Provide executive-level oversight to Agile delivery squads, ensuring strong coordination across architecture, data engineering, testing, operations, and business stakeholders.
  

• Translate high-level business goals into actionable plans with clear milestones, KPIs, and delivery roadmaps.
  

• Manage the end-to-end SDLC for multiple initiatives simultaneously, balancing resources, timelines, and priorities in a matrixed organization.
  

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Backlog Grooming, and Retrospectives , with a strong focus on delivery velocity, transparency, and team empowerment.
  

• Own the intake, prioritization, and governance process for the Data and BI portfolio, working with enterprise leaders to align work with strategic goals.
  

• Proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies across programs, and implement mitigation strategies in collaboration with senior leadership.
  

• Act as a liaison between technical teams, business leaders, and third-party vendors , ensuring project alignment on scope, timeline, quality, and value realization.
  

• Provide executive-level project reporting including health dashboards, financial updates, risk logs, and delivery KPIs to sponsors and governance bodies.
  

• Manage vendor relationships and contract deliverables, holding external partners accountable for quality, timeline, and performance commitments.
  

• Champion process improvement , Agile best practices, and DevOps/automation where possible to modernize delivery.
  

• Drive operational excellence by integrating project planning with enterprise Agile PMO tools and standards.
  

• Maintain stakeholder alignment and confidence through demos, regular updates, leadership briefings, and clear documentation.
  

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in technical project management , with at least 5 years managing enterprise-scale data or analytics initiatives.
  

• Strong domain expertise in data ecosystems , including data pipelines, ETL/ELT, cloud data platforms, BI/reporting tools, and data governance frameworks.
  

• Proven success managing cross-functional and cross-regional project teams, including offshore/nearshore delivery models.
  

• Demonstrated experience leading projects within both Agile (Scrum, SAFe) and traditional Waterfall frameworks.
  

• Expertise with tools like JIRA , Confluence , Smartsheet , Microsoft Project , and other Agile/PMO platforms.
  

• Advanced project financial management skills including budgeting, forecasting, resource planning , and ROI analysis.
  

• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, including executive-level reporting and presentation delivery.
  

• Experience managing vendor engagements, contracts, and third-party SLAs.
  

• Ability to operate autonomously in high-pressure environments and drive decision-making in ambiguous contexts.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience leading projects within a Data & Analytics COE , enterprise data warehouse modernization, or BI platform rollout.
  

• PMP, CSM, SAFe, or equivalent project management certifications highly preferred.
  

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data tools (Power BI, Tableau, Snowflake, Databricks, Informatica, etc.) is a strong plus.
  

• Demonstrated success in roles requiring executive-level engagement and business alignment for data transformation programs.
  

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Information Technology , Data Science , or related technical field.
  

• Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
  

Technical Skills

• Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  

• Project Management: JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Asana
  

• BI/Data Tools (preferred exposure): Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Snowflake, Informatica, etc.
