The anticipated salary range for this role is between $92,000.00 and $140,000.00. The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualification, experiences, and analysis of current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at time of hire. Join us on the journey that has caught the attention of the Banking Dive, and more to reinvent banking where smarter banking translates to a richer life. **SUMMARY:** The Scrum Master will lead Agile/Scrum/SAFe ceremonies, support product owners, and track risks, timelines, and dependencies. This role ensures the execution of Program Increment (PI) objectives, provides metric-driven insights, and manages external relations. **PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Drive Agile/Scrum/SAFe ceremonies with delivery team + Support product owners by ensuring backlog refinement and readiness + Ensure in-depth tracking of risks, timelines, and dependencies + Execute the Program Increment (PI) objectives to support the strategy, vision, and roadmap - Ensure value is achieved by the team on behalf of end users + Create metric-driven insights into the delivery and execution of the team using relevant team-level metrics from JIRA, Service Now, and other Agile Project Management Tools + Provide visibility into gaps, issues, risks, and opportunities across Agile teams + Measure teams' cycle time, throughput, and velocity + Handle external relations, e.g., product or vendor partners or cross-functional teams + Identify and remove team impediments, escalate where assistance is needed in removing impediments + Manage end-to-end coordination between all impacted scrum teams + Identify dependencies between Technology teams + Coordinate and be accountable for the following activities: + SIT/Interconnectivity testing + Understanding of Infosecurity launch conditions that impact technology: + Penetration testing, SAST, DAST, performance testing + Cloud Infrastructure work + Vendor Implementation Management: + Assist vendor onboarding teams with coordination of technology due diligence + Partner with vendors to understand their implementation process and how it maps to Jenius Agile processes + Facilitate vendor requirements gathering with Jenius stakeholders + Manage Technology project risks, issues/problems, and activity progress to ensure project goals, e.g., deadline, scope, and quality are achieved. Drive problem resolution and risk mitigation + For programs, partner with Technology leadership on resource allocation and planning + Ensure Program or Project follows IT policies and standards and Jenius Technology Project Management process and Jenius SDLC + Partner with relevant stakeholders for technology updates on the specific program or project level reporting. This would ensure aligned updates at a Program and Project level are being shared with leadership **POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:** + 5+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager, Scrum Master with emphasis on APIs and/or digital channels. + Bachelor's degree required. + Servant leadership coupled with Banking and Financial Services domain knowledge + Understanding of the APIs that support digital channels and integrations + Understanding the dependencies from different channels and plan releases based on API backward compatibility. + Understanding of Jira Tool, Service Now and Confluence **EOE STATEMENT** SMBC provides reasonable accommodations during candidacy for applicants with disabilities consistent with applicable federal, state, and local law.
