Compensation: $90K to $120K, depending on experience, plus a rich Benefit Package Signing Bonus Available: $5,000

DRYCO   Construction, Inc., is a pavement maintenance, concrete and fencing contractor that consistently earns customer respect for rapid response, effective solutions, and accountability for workmanship, cost and schedule.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals, who have a background in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, looking to develop a rewarding career as a Project Engineer. PE's will be responsible for all Technical, Engineering, Scheduling and Administrative tasks to SUPPORT the PM and the Field Ops. Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Assisting Project Manager in all duties, specifically capable of deep dive into technical details to manage job scope risk
  • Apply technical knowledge and skills to solve problems and ensure technical feasibility
  • Assist in developing and managing project budgets and schedules, ensuring the project stays on track and within budget
  • Tracking Project costs and change in scope of work
  • Communication with Operations daily (status report & changes in scope & capturing change orders)
  • Help Operations (Division Mangers & Superintendents) in crew organization
  • Maintains an excellent working relationship with both internal and external customers
  • Self-motivated, Self-directed, and open to flexible mind-set

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2 or more years of construction field & project planning experience
  • Excellent organizational, time management, leadership and decision-making skills
  • Must be able to communicate well with other professionals
  • Able to successfully multi-task with detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong administrative and computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; AutoCad, Bluebeam
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently with a calm and professional approach
  • Exhibits a positive attitude with co-workers and customers
  • Self-motivated
