A long-established, federally qualified health center in southeastern Massachusetts is adding an Associate Chief Medical Officer.

Practice Information

• The ideal candidate will be interested in underserved communities and will provide the highest level of care creatively, consistently, and compassionately.
• Duties include examining patients and their medical histories, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, providing appropriate treatment and education, and assisting the CMO in providing medical oversight, direction, and leadership to the medical staff regarding all areas of healthcare for the Adult Medicine Departments.
• You will create and maintain collaborative relationships with staff throughout the Health Center to ensure efficient and effective operations and quality patient care.
• With the support of the CMO, you will help establish and maintain systems to ensure that patient services, clinical data, and workflows support organizational objectives.
• The ACMO will also provide effective leadership, guidance, and strategic support for the planning, development, and implementation of clinical information systems.
• The Health Center has 30 medical providers
• 40 years of history of serving patients quality care regardless of income, insurance, or ability to pay
• On-site lab and pharmacy; Fully implemented electronic medical records
