Job Summary
Support the culinary vision while honing your leadership edge! As Executive Sous Chef, you'll help lead the kitchen team, ensuring exceptional food quality and presentation. You will manage back-of-house operations, drive kitchen efficiency, and foster a culture of excellence, safety, and culinary innovation.
Qualifications:
+ Culinary degree preferred
+ 3-5+ years of experience in high-volume kitchens or event-based culinary environments
+ Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen procedures
+ Proficient in inventory, prep, and production systems
+ Ability to manage and develop a diverse kitchen team
Key Responsibilities:
+ Support Executive Chef in managing all kitchen operations
+ Ensure recipe consistency and presentation standards across menus
+ Supervise kitchen team and manage prep, production, and plating
+ Uphold all safety and sanitation standards
+ Assist in training, mentoring, and scheduling culinary staff
+ Monitor kitchen inventory and help control food waste and costs
+ Coordinate with front-of-house and event teams for service execution
