About the Job:

As an ETRM Business Analyst in Power Trading you will have a strong background in Power markets, trade flow, and ETRM (Energy Trading and Risk Management) systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both front and middle office and will play a crucial role in supporting our trading operations, enhancing our ETRM systems, and ensuring seamless integration with our business processes.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Collaborate with traders, risk managers, and IT teams to gather and analyze business requirements
  • Design, develop, and implement ETRM solutions to support power trading activities
  • Conduct detailed analysis of trading data, market trends, and risk factors to provide actionable insights
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of trading data within the ETRM system
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, develop and maintain documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, and user guides
  • Provide training and support to end-users on ETRM systems and processes
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements
  • Assist in the testing and validation of ETRM system upgrades and new functionalities
  • Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in power trading and risk management

What You’ll Bring with You:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the energy trading sector, with a focus on power trading
  • Strong understanding of ETRM systems and their application in power trading
  • Proficiency in data analysis, SQL, and reporting tools
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in the energy trading industry is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Management Consulting experience is a plus
