Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Franchising Operations to join our team. This role will be pivotal in driving the successful implementation of operational initiatives across our franchise system. As the Director, you will be responsible for guiding the overall operational success of the business, including achieving budget goals, providing training and support to franchisees, and fostering a culture of growth and success. Your leadership will help improve unit economics, fuel organic growth, and ensure new franchisees are launched effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the execution of strategic goals that align with the franchise brand's overall objectives.
Manage the day-to-day operations to ensure smooth processes and provide essential support for franchisees.
Continuously assess business processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and performance.
Oversee and manage information systems and applications designed to improve franchise performance.
Supervise the onboarding and training of new franchisees during their first six months of operation.
Review financial performance regularly, adjust operations as needed, and ensure the brand meets monthly EBITA goals.
Administer key operational systems, including G Suite, Wordpress, Franchise360, Remote Server, CFS, AdWords, and QuickBooks.
Ensure compliance with legal guidelines and internal policies to maintain ethical and business standards.
Cultivate a respectful, ethical work culture and provide exceptional service to internal and external customers.
Support franchisee satisfaction by overseeing and guiding a dedicated support team.
Provide constructive feedback and support to a diverse staff across departments.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field (preferred but not required).
5+ years of experience in operations management, with a strong preference for experience in the construction or related sectors.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to coach and train franchisees to meet their business goals.
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
Experience in franchising or the fencing industry is a plus.
Strong operational and financial management skills.
Proven leadership abilities, with a focus on ethics and employee development.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
