The Customer Experience (Marketing) team works to showcase our brand through the lens of expertise and love. They work to provide a personalized experience for our consumers backed by best-in-class, data-driven marketing capabilities. The Customer Experience team focuses across 4 departments including, Marketing, Creative, Communications, and our Loyalty & CRM team. Everyone brings their own point of view to create a unique experience for the pets and pet parents.

This role is based at PetSmart’s Phoenix Home Office, where associates currently enjoy the benefits of in-person collaboration while having the flexibility to work remotely one day per week (a “flex workday” with leader approval), and an expected four days in the office. The Associate Manager, Partner Marketing will play a key role within the Integrated Marketing team, with a focus on supporting innovative marketing package solutions in collaboration with partner brands to drive customer acquisition and retention, capitalizing on key growth opportunities. Reporting to the Manager, Partner Marketing, the individual in this role will blend brand, marketing and category strategy development, and play an important role both within our marketing team and with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting successful initiatives for brands or categories with a diverse product portfolio.

What You’ll Do:

• Support executing unique omni-channel, consumer insight-led marketing programs that leverage our first party data, build community, bring new customers to PetSmart, deliver on our brand equity and create value for both PetSmart stakeholders and the brands who participate in our brand marketing plans
• Support content production shoots in coordination with partner brands and creative agencies
• Support ongoing reporting to translate complex data and insights into scalable opportunities
• Partner with key cross-functional teams across Customer Experience, Merchandising and Digital
• Execute marketing plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams and partner brands
• Partner with creative to develop in store signage needs for consumable marketing brands

What You Need:

• 3+ years of marketing experience in a retail, agency or CPG environment, developing strategic marketing plans and initiatives
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent blend of experience and education; master’s degree is a plus
• Track record of delivering successful and innovative marketing initiatives that drive results and create affinity for your company/brand
• Ability to support go-to-market programs using digital media and data-driven insights
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills, with a keen attention to detail
• Proven ability to convince and influence at multiple levels
• A solutions-oriented mindset
• Ability to create effective internal and external partnerships across the organization
• A love of pets (of course!)
