Who What Wear is looking for an Assistant Managing Editor with project management experience to join our award-winning culture . If you are someone with experience coordinating content calendars and managing production pipelines across multiple team members, including creating comprehensive cross-departmental project documentation and processes, we want to hear from you.
Our ideal Assistant Managing Editor understands the balance between adhering to set procedures and allowing room for flexibility when situations arise outside of normal circumstances. While driven by timelines, order, and structure, the ideal candidate for this role communicates project needs and goals with compassion, patience, and grace, creating a collaborative experience that is both efficient and enjoyable as part of our company culture goals.
Please note : This is not a writing or editorial role . This position is operations- and project management–focused. You’ll be deep in spreadsheets, calendars, timelines, and cross-functional coordination—making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes! While you may occasionally join creative brainstorms, this role is not focused on content creation, and prior editorial experience isn’t necessary to succeed here. If you’re looking to pivot into a writing role, this likely isn’t the right fit. However, if you’re an operations nerd and love systems, deadlines, and bringing order to creative chaos, please attach a short cover letter detailing a specific project you’ve successfully managed to your application—including your methodology and any relevant metrics—in order to be considered.
